Harmony pitched a shutout for the second straight week, defeating Quitman 72-0 on Friday.

The Eagles improve to 4-0 with their dominant win behind the play of Nick Hoelscher. He had a fumble recovery and an interception, both of which he returned for touchdowns. There was no question the Eagles were in control of the game, largely in part because of Hoelscher's ability to turn defense into offense.

For his efforts, he is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Defensive Player of the Week. He follows Carthage's Jacorey Ware, who earned the honor last week.

Harmony hasn't broken into the top 10 of the 3A AP poll yet, but is receiving votes. The Eagles have a matchup with rival White Oak at 7:30 p.m. Friday as they look to keep their winning streak alive.
