Henderson scored early and didn't look back.

The Lions scored 36 seconds into the contest to take an early lead against Palestine, eventually winning, 47-17.

Trae Hall scampered 47 yards for a touchdown after Henderson forced a fumble on Palestine's opening drive. Palestine scored scored 17 points in the second half to attempt a comeback, but couldn't overcome the original deficit.

The Lions play Navasota in the first round of the playoffs next week at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Corsicana.
