Henderson junior receiver Trestan Ebner continues to attract attention from some of the biggest college football programs in the country.

And on Tuesday, Ebner (5-11, 180) received an offer from Texas A&M, he announced on Twitter.

Ebner's 17 Division I FBS offers rank second among East Texans in the 2017 recruiting class, trailing only Nacogdoches CB Josh Thompson, who has collected four new offers already this week to bring his total to 18.

In addition to the Aggies, Ebner holds FBS offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Texas, Ole Miss, SMU, Syracuse, UTSA, TCU, and, Tulsa.

Ebner is the fourth prospect in East Texas' 2017 class to become a target of A&M, joining Liberty-Eylau DE Lagaryonn Carson, Hooks ATH Montrell Estell, and John Tyler WR Damion Miller -- all Texas commits.

The Aggies will begin their fifth season under head coach Kevin Sumlin, who has guided A&M to a 36-16 record (18-14 in the SEC). The Aggies are coming off their third consecutive .500 campaign within the SEC, finishing 8-5 overall for the second straight year.

Texas A&M has certainly been a top destination for East Texas recruits over the years. There are currently nine local players on the Aggies' roster, and A&M signed four East Texans in February -- Athens CB Travon Fuller, Frankston WR Kendrick Rogers, and Mineola OL Austin and Riley Anderson.

Ebner helped Henderson to a 7-3 finish in 2015, but his squad missed the playoffs due to the combination of games it lost within District 9-4A Division I. However, Henderson closed the year with a bang by defeating a Kilgore team that had already clinched the league championship.

Like all high school football prospects currently in their junior year, Ebner will become eligible to sign with any program that offers him in February.
