Elysian Fields 2019 offensive lineman Jade Ashalintubbi received his second Division I scholarship offer of the week on Friday.

A few days after Stephen F. Austin reached out, Ashalintubbi reported via Twitter that Houston Baptist offered as well.

Ashalintubbi (6-6, 315) has four total offers now, holding additional FBS opportunities from Louisiana-Monroe and Tulsa.

Last season, Ashalintubbi was the leader on an offensive line that enabled the Yellowjackets to average 518.3 yards per game (304.1 rushing, 214.2 passing). Elysian Fields went 7-4, falling in the first round of the playoffs to Garrison.

Houston Baptist, an FCS competitor in the Southland Conference, is coached by Vic Shealy. The Huskies were 1-10 overall and 0-9 in league play in 2017.

Ahsalintubbi, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him in December.
