Pine Tree's Caleb Chumley continues to see his offer list steadily grow.

That number jumped to five Friday morning when Chumley received an offer from Houston, he confirmed via text with ETSN.fm.

Chumley's offer list now includes the Cougars, Memphis, North Texas, Oregon State, and Texas State. Chumley said he talked to Houston head coach Tony Levine early Friday morning before Levine extended the offer.

Chumley has been recruited as a quarterback, tight end, receiver, and athlete, but his potential at quarterback has many schools intrigued. Oregon tight end coach Tom Osborne recently visited Pine Tree to get a closer look at Chumley.

His limited experience as a signal caller may be the only thing preventing his offer list from being in the double digits at this point. Chumley ran the Pirates’ offense in three games last season to overwhelming statistical success. He accumulated about 1,200 total yards of offense and 13 total touchdowns.
