CANTON -- Hunter Moore passed for 333 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Canton Eagles to their first win of the season, 35-13 over Spring Hill, on Friday night at Norris Birdwell Stadium.

Moore completed 27 of 40 attempts, firing scoring strikes to Jordan Jackson and Tre Fitzgerald. Moore also added 48 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries.

Jackson rushed for 58 yards and a score on eight carries, and his touchdown reception covered 70 yards. Zach Brown caught eight passes for 83 yards, and Fitzgerald's four receptions were good for 50 yards with his score coming from 39 yards.

Both teams return to action next Friday night.

Canton (1-3) plays at Wills Point, while Spring Hill (0-4) will attempt to crack the win column for the first time in 2015 at home against Hughes Springs.
