Two-time reigning state champion Carthage had two of its senior wide receivers pick up new Division I scholarship offers on Tuesday.

Dee Bowens and Dewaylon Ingram each announced via Twitter that Incarnate Word has offered.

Bowens also holds a Division I offer from Alcorn State, while Ingram has a handful of opportunities and is currently committed to Sam Houston State.

Both players had significant roles on the Bulldogs' run to the Class 4A Division I state championship last season.

Bowens led the team with 62 catches for 1,444 yards and 23 touchdowns. Ingram, meanwhile, finished his senior season with 60 receptions for 1,061 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Incarnate Word is an FCS program located in San Antonio that competes in the Southland Conference.

The Cardinals just hired former Texas Tech assistant Eric Morris following their 1-10 season in 2017.

Bowens and Ingram can sign with any Division I program that offers them on Feb. 7.
