ROCKWALL -- Jacob Clark threw two touchdowns and ran for two more and Rockwall used a big first half to rout Tyler Lee, 49-28, in a District 11-6A matchup Friday night.

Rockwall erupted for 43 first-half points and rolled up 439 total yards of offense to move to 3-5 on the season and 2-3 in district. Tyler Lee, led by quarterback Chance Amie's 186 yards and two touchdowns rushing, dropped to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in district.

Clark scored on 4- and 1-yard touchdown runs, threw a 56-yard touchdown to Jaxon Smith, and Lo'yer Bailey and Jacob Rather reached paydirt to put Rockwall up 36-7 with 2:17 left in the first half.

Amie responded with a 61-yard touchdown run 22 seconds after Rather's touchdown to cut the lead to 36-14, but Clark found Smith again, this time from 16 yards out, to give Rockwall a 43-14 halftime lead.

Both teams went scoreless in the third quarter before Rather, who led Rockwall in rushing with 13 carries for 58 yards, scored his second touchdown of the game with 10:36 left in the fourth quarter to make the score 49-14.

Tyler Lee added two late touchdowns -- the first a 65-yard run by Amie and the second a 3-ayrd run by Lanthony Simmons -- for the final score.

Amie completed 5 of 12 passes for 44 yards and a touchdown to Jamal Ligon to go along with his rushing total. Simmons finished with 57 yards on 15 carries.

Clark finished with 267 yards on 13 of 21 completions, with 145 yards going to Smith on seven completions.
