DIBOLL -- Jansen McCurdy accounted for three touchdowns and White Oak raced out to a big lead early en route to a 52-15 win against Anahuac in a Class 2A Division I bi-district game Friday night.

McCurdy caught touchdown passes of 39 yards and 85 yards from Dylan Gale and also added an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to send White Oak (9-2) to the area round of the playoffs.

The Roughnecks will face Grandview at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Van.

McCurdy caught three passes for 136 yards in the win to lead the Roughnecks' receivers, while running back Hunter Owens added 120 yards and two touchdowns rushing on 13 attempts.

White Oak scored 45 straight points after Anahuac tied the game at 7-7 midway through the first quarter. Anahuac wouldn't score again until 2:44 left in the game and it already out of reach.

Gale completed 10 of 16 passes for 218 yards with the two touchdowns to McCurdy and an interception for White Oak.
