Few players in East Texas' 2014 football recruiting class have been as busy as Jasper's Terrell Cuney during the past few weeks. That doesn't appear to be ending soon.

Cuney confirmed with ETSN.fm on Friday morning that his offer list stands at two after Texas Tech extended an offer today. That joins the TCU offer that Cuney said he received within the past few weeks.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound offensive lineman has been one of the most sought after recruits in the region's 2014 class in recent weeks, garnering several junior day invitations. Cuney is visiting Texas this weekend for a junior day, which could result in the third offer for the player widely considered one of the top centers in the nation in next year's class. Cuney plans to visit Texas A&M next weekend for a junior day event.

Cuney has received interest from a slew of schools, including Florida State, Houston, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Oregon.

Cuney joins his cousins -- running back Terrance (5-10, 206) and linebacker DeAnthony (6-0, 204) -- as the core of Jasper's 2013 squad. Terrance ran for more almost 1,300 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2012, which ended in a 9-3 record and Class 3A Division II Region III area appearance against eventual state champion Navasota. DeAnthony had 83 tackles, including seven for loss.
