TATUM -- Javolick Garrett scored 30 points to lead the host Tatum Eagles past Marshall, 81-71, Friday at the Tatum Holiday Hoops Showcase.

Robbie Rockwell added 17 points and Cole Hughes added 11 for Tatum (10-3), which plays Pleasant Grove at 9 a.m. Saturday for a spot in the gold bracket championship game.

T.J. Maxfield led Marshall with 18 points. The Mavericks face Jacksonville at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with a spot in the title game also on the line.

The championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday.

Jacksonville and Pleasant Grove each picked up a pair of wins on Friday.

The Indians defeated Carthage 81-35 and Pine Tree 68-54. Ozzian Clayborne led a balanced Jacksonville scoring effort against Carthage with 10 points. Kadarius Buckingham paced the Indians with 14 points in the win over Pine Tree.

Pleasant Grove defeated Carthage 62-40 and Hallsville 55-46. Dustin Thomas scored 21 points and Chris Menah added 15 in the win over Carthage, while Thomas had 16 against Hallsville, which will play Center at noon for the consolation title.

In the silver bracket, Carthage and New Boston meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, while Bullard Brook Hill takes on Pine Tree at 10:30 a.m. The winners will meet in the championship at 4:30 p.m.
