John Tyler’s Ja’Bralen Yarber Commits to Northwestern State

Ja'Bralen Yarber has made up his mind.

Yarber, a 2019 defensive lineman with John Tyler, announced his commitment to Northwestern State via Twitter on Thursday evening.

The Lions' lineman also holds offers from Louisiana-Monroe and Stephen F. Austin.

Yarber played on both sides of the ball in 2017 for John Tyler. The Lions finished last year with a 5-5 overall record.

Northwestern State competes in the Southland Conference of the FCS and finished 2017 with a 4-7 record.

Yarber, like all seniors, is first eligible to sign with any team that offers him beginning in December.
