John Tyler senior receiver Justice Liggins is headed to a Southland Conference school this weekend for an official visit.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound pass catcher will visit Stephen F. Austin State, which has already extended him an offer. Liggins holds additional offers from Wyoming, Northwestern State, Southeastern Louisiana, and Houston Baptist, he told ETSN.fm on Thursday afternoon.

Liggins also said he's been receiving interest from Tulsa.

Liggins was a key part of a John Tyler offense that helped the Lions go 13-2 and reach the Class 4A Division I state semifinals, where they lost 57-53 to eventual state champion Denton Guyer in an instant classic. Liggins caught eight passes for 127 yards in that game and scored on a 65-yard touchdown strike that sparked Cujo's fourth-quarter comeback from a 19-point deficit.

For the season, Liggins snagged 56 passes for 699 yards and seven touchdowns. He also ran for two touchdowns. He's ranked No. 16 in the updated ETSN 25 recruiting rankings.
