John Tyler’s Tyus Bowser Earns Basketball Offer

John Tyler multi-sport standout Tyus Bowser has received a ton of interest from colleges because of his football skills, and now has an offer for basketball.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound senior forward said via Twitter on Sunday that he has received an offer from Oral Roberts for basketball. Oral Roberts is an NCAA Division I program that competes in the Southland Conference.

Bowser has several Division I FBS offers for football: Memphis, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, UL Lafayette, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Bowser had 83 tackles, an East Texas-leading 24 sacks, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries playing defensive end for John Tyler, which finished 13-2 with a Class 4A Division I state semifinal appearance.
Bowser also had one rushing touchdown, one receiving touchdown, and one passing touchdown on offense.
John Tyler opens District 16-4A play at Nacogdoches on Friday.
