Kade Clayton ran for three touchdowns and was one of six Tyler Grace Cougars to score touchdowns in a 61-0 shutout of crosstown and district rival Tyler T.K. Gorman on Friday night.

Clayton scored on runs of 2, 9 and 10 yards for Grace (6-1, 3-1), which moved into a tie for second in TAPPS Division II District 2 with Bullard Brook Hill, which lost to Dallas Shelton 38-0 on Friday night.

Garrett Newman added two touchdown runs (34 and 8 yards) for Grace, which led 48-0 at halftime.

Statler Lewis returned a T.K. Gorman interception for a touchdown, Johnny Spitzer scored on a 26-yard touchdown run and Chandler Nutt took a run 15 yards to paydirt to round out the scoring for Grace.

T.K. Gorman fell to 1-6 on the season and 0-4 in district.
