CARTHAGE -- Keaontay Ingram rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns in the first half to lead No. 1 Carthage to a 41-7 drubbing of Bullard in a District 9-4A Division I matchup Friday night.

Carthage (8-0, 4-0) stayed unbeaten on the season and notched its 18 consecutive win going back to 2016. The loss dropped Bullard to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in district.

Ingram only needed 11 carries to get his 161 yards and two scores, and the Texas commit was able to rest the second half. He scored on touchdowns of 54 and 30 yards.

Mekhi Colbert also rushed for 117 yards, including a 61-yard touchdown, all in the first half.

Carthage quarterback Gunner Capps completed 7 of 16 passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

The Bulldogs held Bullard to 145 yards of offense and forced two turnovers.
