ELYSIAN FIELDS -- Keely Howard pitched a complete-game three-hitter and Kaylee Prather put her name in the record books in Elysian Fields' 4-0 shutout of Tatum on Tuesday.

Howard (12-3) struck out six and walked one as Elysian Fields improved to 23-9 overall and 10-3 in district.

Prather broke Elysian Fields' single-season and career records for stolen bases. Both were previously held by Lexi Commander, EF's head coach, who set the records in 2000. Prather has 53 steals this season and 152 steals for her career. The previous records were 50 and 150, respectively.

Prather, who scored one run, and Devin Gonzalez each went 2-for-3, while Gonzalez had a double and one RBI. Jane Harris tripled and drove in a run. Jacey Doyle doubled and scored twice. Montanna Methvin and Maddy Spears each had one hit and one RBI. Methvin scored once.

Elysian Fields scored once in the first and led 1-0 through three innings. The Lady Jackets added one run apiece in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.

Tatum's Nicole Aldridge allowed three runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and two walks in five innings. Teammate Jacqueline Bartley allowed one run on one hit with two strikeouts in one inning.

Tatum's Karli Bradbury, Jolie Sutherland, and Aldridge had one hit apiece.

Elysian Fields hosts Union Grove at 3 p.m. Saturday.
