Demorrea Richardson gave Kilgore plenty of reasons to thank him on Friday.

Richardson, a defensive lineman for the Bulldogs, finished with 10 tackles, two for loss, two sacks, a blocked punt and a forced fumble in a 56-25 victory. He follows New Boston's Cade Fant, who won the award in Week 10.

Richardson's performance not only spurred a Bulldog win, but put Kilgore squarely in the playoffs. The Bulldogs finished 7-3 and will face Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7 p.m. Thursday in Orange.
