TENAHA -- Laneville got good production out of its players Wednesday in the championship round of the Tenaha Holiday Hoops Tournament. Kountze just performed at a higher level in an 83-55 win.

Kountze had four players reach double-digit scoring, including two stars with more than 20 points each in Justin Harper and Grayland Arnold.

The usual suspects led the Yellowjackets in the rare loss.

Kendrick Alexander put up a team-best 13 points, Jaylon Grant scored 11 and Tra Alexander was held below average with eight in the game.

Laneville (12-3) had a nice performance on the boards.

Anderson recorded 13 rebounds for a double-double. Ty Johnson won 12 rebound battles and chipped in six points.

The Yellowjackets, already 1-0 in District 28-A play, will resume league competition Tuesday at home against Chireno.
