TENAHA -- The second-ranked Laneville Yellowjackets rolled to a pair of easy wins to begin the sixth annual Tenaha Holiday Hoops tournament on Monday.

Laneville earned a 84-30 win over Lipan before easing to a 79-46 rout of Tenaha, which advanced the Yellowjackets (11-2) to a semifinal contest against White Oak at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Tra Alexander led the way for Laneville against Lipan with 23 points to go along with seven steals. Jaylon Grant added 13 points, and Kendrick Anderson had 10 points, seven rebounds, six steals, and five assists.

Laneville racked up an astounding 35 steals for the game.

Alexander had 25 points, seven rebounds and 10 steals in Laneville's defeat of Tenaha. Grant added 18 points and two assists, while Anderson chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds.
