Laneville senior Donta Harris and Douglass senior Bryce Westbrook shared Most Valuable Player honors on the 25-A Division II all-district basketball team, which was voted on by the league's coaches.

Harris garnered one of three superlative nods for Laneville, which reached the state championship game earlier this month. Junior Ty Johnson was voted Defensive MVP, while Hosea Lee was awarded Coach of the Year honors.

Other superlatives went to Oakwood senior Damiyne Durham (Offensive MVP) and Chireno freshman Jeffrey Cleveland (Newcomer of the Year).
