District champion Chapel Hill took home four of the top five awards on the 16-3A all-district boys basketball team, as voted by the district's coaches.

Chapel Hill 6-foot-6 senior post Michael Harris was named Most Valuable Player. Classmate Julius Hill, a guard, received Offensive Player of the Year honors, while junior guard D.D. Mumphrey was named Defensive Player of the Year.

Chapel Hill's Robert Sampson, who led the Bulldogs to a 22-10 record, 16-3A championship, and Class 3A Region II second-round playoff appearance, garnered Coach of the Year accolades.

Kilgore sophomore guard Xaviar Gaona was named Newcomer of the Year after helping Kilgore to a 16-15 record and 3A Region II quarterfinal appearance.

Spring Hill had three first-team all-district selections, followed by Bullard, Kilgore, and Gladewater with two apiece.
