League Champion Spring Hill Claims 4 of 7 Top Awards on 16-3A All-District Volleyball Team

Class 3A Region II finalist Spring Hill garnered four of the top seven league-wide honors with the release of the 16-3A all-district volleyball team as voted by the league's coaches.

Senior setter Rachel Riestenberg, who had more than 1,200 assists, earned Most Valuable Player recognition, while sophomore Ann Hollas claimed Top Hitter honors. Fellow sophomore Jenna Hampton was named the district's Newcomer of the Year.

Karen Brundrett led Spring Hill to its fourth consecutive regional tournament and a 38-3 record en route to the district Coach of the Year award.

Bullard's Ashley Searcy and Madi Hodges were named Top Blocker and Top Defensive Specialist, respectively. Gilmer's Shaylee Fennell earned the league's Top Setter award.

Spring Hill had three first-team all-district selections. Gilmer, Henderson, and Bullard each had two players picked by the district's coaches to the first team.
