TEXARKANA -- Liberty-Eylau scored 32 unanswered points and Ke'Mon Freeman accounted for four total touchdowns in a 46-21 win over Princeton on Friday, giving the Leopards the District 7-4A Division I title.

Liberty-Eylau (9-1, 5-0), which has won nine in a row after a season-opening loss against Gilmer, will face Van in the bi-district round of the playoffs. Van finished fourth in District 8-4A Division I after a 42-30 loss to Kaufman on Friday.

Princeton (7-3, 3-2), which finished as the third-place team in district, took a 21-20 lead into the half, but the Panthers wouldn't add any points to the scoreboard after that.

Freeman threw a 14-yard touchdown to Decorian Meadows with 21 seconds left in the first half to cut Princeton's lead to 1, and then the Leopards took over.

Freeman scored on a 5-yard touchdown run to open the second half and added a 9-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. Andre Wiley recovered a blocked punt int he end zone to give the Leopards a 32-21 lead going into the final period.

After Freeman's 9-yard touchdown, he hit Thurman Morbley for a 70-yard touchdown with 5:26 left to put the game away.

Freeman finished the game with 21 carries for 222 yards, while Lamont Byrd added 12 attempts for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Princeton quarterback Colt Collins threw two touchdowns and ran for another, finishing with 102 yards on 21 rushes and completed 6 of 12 passes for 131 yards and two interceptions.
