Liberty-Eylau’s Davion Hall Named MVP on 13-3A All-District Football Team
Baylor-committed Liberty-Eylau standout Davion Hall was named Most Valuable Player on the 13-3A all-district football team as voted by the league's coaches.
The 6-foot-2, 191-pound two-way standout helped the Leopards reach the first round of the Class 3A Division I Region II playoffs. Hall competes in Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio that will be broadcast at noon on NBC.
Paris, which won its second consecutive district championship, claimed 3 of 5 superlative honors.
Quarterback Quez Allen earned Offensive MVP accolades, while linebacker Bricky Reed garnered Defensive MVP recognition. Jordan Williams was named Special Teams Player of the Year.
Atlanta's Tristan Allen received the district's Newcomer of the Year award.
The district's coaches opted to include the five award-winners on the all-district teams as well.
