LINDALE--Lindale took advantage of three Forney turnovers to defeat Forney, 30-17, Friday at Eagle Stadium.

Lindale quarterback Dillon Heinaman passed for 180 yards and a touchdown while running back Jordan Robinson rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Lindale (1-1) forced two fumbles, one in the final seconds of the first half which was returned for a 1-yard touchdown by Kollin McCartney. Lindale also had an interception in the second half by Chase Crumpton.

Quarterback Devon Rideaux passed for 135 yards for Forney (1-1). Rideaux also rushed for 105 yards in the loss.

Forney led 17-14 late in the first half on a field goal by Matt Huffman. Three turnovers later, Lindale went in front and stayed there.
