Longview Defensive Tackle Zaycoven Henderson Decommits from TCU + Names Six Favorites

After a flurry of decommitment reports hit the Web on Wednesday afternoon, Zaycoven Henderson ended any remaining speculation Thursday morning.

Henderson's recruiting attention exploded during the winter once scouts got to see plenty of his game film and his performances at camps. That led to several offers and two visits, the first to Oklahoma and the second to TCU. Henderson committed to TCU on Sunday, Feb. 24 at the end of that trip to Fort Worth.

Henderson had a breakout junior season in 2012, when he recorded 48 tackles, 10 for loss, and two sacks as one of the top playmakers on the Lobos' strong defensive front. He's sidelined with a Jones fracture in his foot right now, but is expected to return to the Longview lineup by early to mid-October.
