TYLER – Another banner night from the Longview Lobo offense led to yet another big win for the Lobos on Friday night in District 11-6A action.
Jessie Anderson scored three times to pace a big night offensively for the Lobos in a 63-14 win over the Robert E. Lee Red Raiders at Rose Stadium.
Anderson’s three touchdown runs of two, four and 12 yards punctuated a night where the Lobos could do no wrong. Anderson finished with a team-best 138 yards.
Haynes King and Kamden Perry connected for touchdown strikes twice for the Lobos, who jumped out to a 28-0 lead after the first quarter and a 35-14 lead at halftime.
Perry finished with 198 yards receiving and King passed for 230 in the win. Perry now has 1,145 yards this season and passed Eric Hawkins for the most yards by any Lobo receiver in a single season.
Keilyn Williams tacked on a pair of rushing scores and Longview got touchdowns from JD Williams and Kaden Meredith as well in the romp to move to 9-0 on the season and 5-0 in league play.
Lee (2-7, 1-4) got on the board on a double pass from receiver Sebastian Grady to Jamar Acreneaux. The Raiders also added another second-quarter touchdown on a two-yard scamper from two-way standout Jordan Printers.
Arceneaux led the Red Raiders with 63 rushing yards and quarterback Mark Patton hit 100 yards on the dot.
Longview hosts Mesquite next while Robert E Lee visits Mesquite Horn.
