Longview’s Corey Bartley Makes First Team on Associated Press Class 5A All-State Squad

Longview senior defensive back Corey Bartley was named to the first team on the Associated Press Class 5A all-state team, released on Thursday.

Bartley recorded 100 tackles, had five interceptions, six blocked kicks, 13 pass break-ups, a forced fumble and one recovery during the regular season for the Lobos.

There were four East Texas players that received honorable mention. They were Lufkin receiver JaBryce Taylor, Lufkin defensive lineman Demontrai Lewis, Longview linebacker DeMarkus Lathan and Lufkin punter Luis Garcia.
