Longview’s Reid Russell An Honorable-Mention Selection on TSWA Class 5A All-State Baseball Team

BRYAN -- Longview senior third baseman Reid Russell received honorable-mention recognition on the Collin Street Bakery/Texas Sports Writer's Association Class 5A all-state baseball team, which was released on Friday.

Russell, who was also a first-teamer on the ETSN.fm Super Team, hit .362 with eight homers and 36 RBIs for the Lobos.

The Longview slugger was also a third-team pick on the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association all-state team.
