After a strong career at Longview High School, Zaycoven Henderson will play one more time as a high school football player.

The 6-foot-1, 300-pound defensive tackle plays in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl at 8 p.m. Sunday at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. FoxSports1 will broadcast the game on TV.

Henderson is committed to Texas and plans to enroll in the coming days. He chose the Longhorns over about 20 total offers.

Despite missing Longview's first five games of the 2013 season with a foot fracture, Henderson recorded 36 tackles, 13 for loss, and two sacks in the final eight games on the Lobos' schedule, helping them go 11-2 with a second consecutive third-round playoff appearance. He had a breakout junior season in 2012, when he finished with 48 tackles, 10 for loss, and two sacks.

Henderson is 1 of 5 East Texas seniors competing in national all-star games this week.

Nacogdoches center Jacob Bragg, who is committed to Kansas, plays in Thursday's Under Armour All-American Game in St. Petersburg, Fla. Three East Texans -- Mount Pleasant receiver K.D. Cannon (Baylor), Jasper center Terrell Cuney (Texas), and Liberty-Eylau athlete Davion Hall (Baylor) -- play in Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
