Lufkin Receiver Terry Mark Commits to Houston

Lufkin wide receiver Terry Mark has decided to follow in his older brother's footsteps by pledging to join the football program at Houston, the Panthers playmaker confirmed to ETSN.fm on Wednesday.

Justin Wells of InsideTexas.com was the first report of Mark's commitment.

Mark (6-1, 180) became the second East Texas recruit in the 2015 class to commit to the Cougars, joining Kilgore running back Kevrin Justice. Mark's older brother Tomme Mark is a junior defensive tackle at Houston.

The Panthers receiver had a big junior year, catches 34 passes for 578 yards and six touchdowns. He was a part of a talented three-piece receiving corps. Jamal Jeffery signed with Texas A&M in February, while Mark's classmate Key'Vantanie "KeKe" Coutee is among the state's top recruits.

Lufkin finished 5-6 last season with a first-round playoff loss to Humble Atascocita.
