Friday night's matchup between old district rivals Lufkin and Tyler Lee at Tyler's Rose Stadium is the ETSN.fm + Dairy Queen Game of the Week.

Both teams opened the season last week in impressive fashion.

Lufkin racked up an amazing 16 sacks in its 52-28 win over John Tyler, while Tyler Lee made a big statement with a 55-20 rout at Sulphur Springs.

The ferocious Panthers' defense turned a 14-point first-quarter deficit into a blowout. After falling behind 21-7, Lufkin reeled off the game's next 45 points, including 18 straight in the first 5:50 of the second half to build a 46-21 lead.

Lee, which finished 1-9 last season, avenged last season's overtime loss by burying Sulphur Springs, thanks to quarterback Zach Hall. The sophomore accounted for six touchdowns and more than 400 yards of offense.

We’ll be live from the game with KLTV to bring you the preview at 6 p.m. on channel 7 and again with KLTV on the Red Zone postgame show, along with plenty of other highlights and insight from games across East Texas — and, of course, right here on ETSN.fm.
