Lufkin 2015 ATH KeyVantanie "KeKe" Coutee burst onto the scene as a sophomore, catching the attention of both opposing teams and college scouts.

And on Friday, he picked up his first two offers.

Lufkin head coach Todd Quick also confirmed that 2014 DT D.J. Williams (6-4, 290) was offered by Oklahoma on Friday. Williams received his first offer last week from Miami.

Coutee enjoyed breakout success in 2012 with 64 catches for 864 yards and 10 touchdowns, finishing second on the team in all three categories to SMU signee JaBryce Taylor.

Coutee, who has also been receiving strong interest from Texas according to head coach Todd Quick, is part of a strong returning nucleus for Lufkin.

In addition to Coutee and Williams, 2014 WR Jamal Jeffrey has already committed to Texas A&M.
