SULPHUR SPRINGS -- Cameron Haller ran for 213 yards and two touchdowns and Marshall finished the regular season on an easy note, shutting out Sulphur Springs 39-0 on Friday.

The win clinched a share of the District 15-5A title for Marshall (9-1, 5-1), along with Texas High and Longview.

The Mavericks will face Lindale, a 41-25 winner over Whitehouse on Friday, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pine Tree's Pirate Stadium in the bi-district round of the Class 5A Division II playoffs.

Chavis Mills added 17 carries for 84 yards and two scores to help Marshall finish with more than 360 rushing yards against Sulphur Springs. Haller, who only ran 19 times for his huge yardage total, also completed 7 of 11 passes for 103 yards and a score.

His touchdown pass went to Jaquavian Dabbs, who finished with three catches for 53 yards.

Sulphur Springs, which finished the game with 96 total yards of offense, ended its season winless.

Marshall totaled 466 yards of offense in the win.
