Marshall Loses at the Last Minute to Shadow Creek

MARSHALL--Marshall erased a 14-point deficit, but still lost to Shadow Creek 28-21 on Friday.

Despite gaining 317 yards to Shadow Creek's 205, the Mavericks couldn't pull away. J.J. Green had 183 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions for the Mavericks. Tahj Washington had 56 yards on three carries as well as a touchdown.

Jamarion George found Malik Rodgers for the second time all night with 35 seconds to go. It was a touchdown and ultimately the game winner.

Marshall will travel to Corsicana on Friday and look for its first victory of the season.
