Marshall junior offensive lineman Chasen Hines has received offers from most of the area powers, but on Thursday, he picked up his first from the Pac-12 Conference.

Hines (6-3, 340) announced via Twitter that Arizona has officially offered.

Arizona is the 13th school to offer Hines, joining several others, including Baylor, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.

Hines is the first East Texan in the 2018 recruiting class to be offered by Arizona.

The Wildcats, who are coached by Rich Rodriguez, went 3-9 in 2016. An eight-game losing streak derailed the campaign, but Arizona managed to knock off arch-rival Arizona State, 56-35, in the season finale.

Hines helped Marshall’s offense to 3,939 total yards in an 11-game 2016 season. As a sophomore, he was part of an offense that put up 5,401 total yards and drove the team to a third-round appearance in the Class 5A Division I state playoffs.

Like all college football prospects currently in their junior year of high school, Hines will become eligible to sign with any school that offers him in February of 2018.
