Mineola’s Dac Shaw Commits to TCU [VIDEO]

Mineola running back/linebacker Dac Shaw, one of the top recruits in the class of 2013 for East Texas, committed to TCU today, according to HornedFrogsBlitz.com, part of the Scout.com network.

Shaw also had offers from Baylor, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.

Mineola's star is ranked 56th in the state among all recruits by Rivals.com and 36th nationally at the outside linebacker position. 247sports.com has him ranked 15th at the OLB position and 31st overall in Texas.

Shaw finished his junior season with 95 tackles, but also was one of the top rushers in East Texas with 1,400 yards and 28 touchdowns. He'll play his senior season with Mineola back in Class 3A after the Yellow Jackets spent the last two in 2A.

Verbal commitments are nonbinding until National Signing Day in February.
