Minnesota Latest to Offer 2020 Newton DL James Sylvester
James Sylvester will likely have a busy offseason.
The 2020 Newton defensive lineman's season isn't even over yet and the offers are starting to come in. Sylvester tweeted an offer from Minnesota late Tuesday evening, his 11th FBS offer.
Sylvester is third on Newton in tackles and leads the team in both tackles for loss (16) and sacks (7). He has done this despite missing the first two games of the season with injury.
Sylvester also has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and many others.
Minnesota compete in the Big Ten and finished the regular season 6-6 and 3-6 in conference play.
Sylvester, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him beginning in December 2019.
