Louisiana Tech has upped the ante in the Lane household by offering East Texas' leading scholarship holder's younger brother.

Nacogdoches defensive back Corey Lane -- the brother of Dragons cornerback Jaylon Lane -- reported his first ever scholarship offer came from the Bulldogs on Wednesday evening via his Twitter account.

The Bulldogs now have two scholarships out for the Lane family. It was the second school to offer Jaylon Lane before the Class of 2015 prospect exploded on the recruiting radar and moved to 33 current college football opportunities in two months.

Corey Lane (5-11, 180) is a rising junior in the Class of 2016 and has confirmed he will attend the ETSN + APEC football recruiting combine in Tyler on June 1.

The two brothers now share one scholarship opportunity, and three Nacogdoches defensive backs have Division I scholarships.

The brothers are joined on the recruiting circuit by 2016 safety Brandon Jones who leads all East Texas underclassmen with 12 scholarships. Jones is a close family friend.

Louisiana Tech has two more offers out for East Texas at large. Those belong to Whitehouse defensive back Nate Brooks and Bulldogs' commitment and Tyler Lee offensive lineman Brandon Durman.

The university's defensive coordinator, Manny Diaz, and defensive backs coach Ronnie Bradford were seen by the ETSN staff taking in the Tyler Lee football practice earlier in the afternoon.

A second 2016 player received their first offer Wednesday. Navy reached out to John Tyler defensive tackle Braylon Jones.
