Navy Offers Whitehouse Linebacker Reggie Long

The last few days have been a busy time for Whitehouse's Reggie Long.

The Wildcats' senior linebacker picked up a Navy offer on Tuesday, he announced via Twitter.

The Midshipmen are the third Division I FBS program to offer Long, who also holds offers from Army and New Mexico State.

Long also received a Division II offer from Tarleton State on Tuesday. Those two offers came after Division I FCS program Central Arkansas offered him over the weekend.

Navy offered Liberty-Eylau senior quarterback Rashaan Donelson on Monday evening. Navy also has offers to Texas Tech-committed Chapel Hill senior defensive back Joseph Clark (four total offers) and Tyler Grace senior athlete Kade Clayton (three total offers).

Long had 92 tackles, 17 for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown in about 9 1/2 games. He missed Whitehouse's final three games with a shoulder injury he suffered late in the first half of the Wildcats' 55-54 district championship-clinching home win against John Tyler on Nov. 8
