The spring evaluation period for college coaching staffs is in full swing all across the country, and East Texas has become a prime location over the last several days.

On Wednesday, Nacogdoches 2016 safety Brandon Jones added two more offers when both Nebraska and Louisiana Tech made the Dragons playmaker a target, Jones announced on his personal Twitter account.

Jones (6-0, 190) now has 14 offers to lead the way for 2016 East Texans, four of which have at least one Division I FBS offer.

Louisiana Tech also offered Nacogdoches 2016 safety Corey Lane on Wednesday. Three of Nac's secondary performers now have major college offers. Jaylon Lane, Corey's older brother and a 2015 cornerback, has an East Texas-leading 33 offers.

Nebraska has offered two East Texans in the 2015 class -- Newton defensive back Roney Elam and Troup quarterback Blake Lynch, a Baylor commit. Louisiana Tech, meanwhile, has two offers out to 2016 and three to 2015 recruits in the region.

Jones had a breakout sophomore campaign, finishing with 95 tackles, five interceptions, a defensive touchdown and two special teams returns for scores in helping Nacogdoches to its first postseason berth since 2006.
