Nebraska Offers Crockett’s Allen Horace
The fourth Division I FBS scholarship offer arrived Thursday for Crockett 2020 defensive end Allen Horace, Jr.
The Bulldogs' junior standout reported via Twitter that Nebraska has offered.
Horace (6-5, 230) was previously offered by Arkansas, Baylor, and Oklahoma State.
The Crockett playmaker is a talented athlete, who also contributes on the offensive side of the ball at wide receiver, and on the basketball court as well.
Last May at the sixth annual ETSN Combine at APEC in Tyler, Horace recorded an impressive laser-timed, 40-yard dash time of 4.83. He also had an eight-foot, four-inch broad jump, and a vertical of 31 inches, while putting up 20 bench-press reps at 185 pounds.
Horace and his Crockett teammates are 5-2 overall and 2-1 in District 11-2A Division I this season. The Bulldogs play at Elkhart on Friday night.
Nebraska is under first-year head coach Scott Frost, who is a former quarterback for the Cornhuskers. This season, Nebraska is 1-6 overall and 1-4 in the Big Ten Conference.
Horace, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December of 2019.
