New Boston’s Damien Haskins Picks Up a New College Offer
New Boston senior running back Damien Haskins added his sixth college offer during an official visit over the weekend.
The 5-foot-9, 210-pound Haskins went on a visit to Oregon State, which extended him an offer Saturday. Haskins, who is committed to Memphis, has additional offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, New Mexico, UTSA, and ULM. He’s also received interest from Arkansas, Baylor, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas State, and Texas Tech.
Haskins has run for 1,825 yards and 28 touchdowns on 139 carries for averages of 13.1 yards per carry and 260.7 yards per game. New Boston — 7-0 and ranked No. 5 in the AP Class 2A poll — hosts Hooks on Friday.
