The New Diana community is mourning the loss of a coach this week after Keith McKinley died Tuesday. He was 40.

According to KLTV, McKinley suffered a heart attack at his home March 28 and was flown to Dallas. His heart failed twice before being revived both times.

McKinley was a three-sport coach at New Diana, and was married with three children. He was previously the head baseball coach and defensive coordinator at Ore City.

The community has set up a GoFundMe account to raise money for McKinley's medical bills and funeral expenses. Almost all of the $20,000 goal has been raised as of Wednesday.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Saturday (April 11) at Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview. Flowers may be sent to Rader Funeral Home in Longview.

All of us at ETSN.fm extend our prayers and well-wishes to Coach McKinley's family and the entire New Diana community.
