The offers continue to come for Henderson 2018 quarterback Trae Hall. On Monday, he picked up his fifth Division I FBS scholarship opportunity.

Hall announced via Twitter that New Mexico State has joined the list of schools in pursuit.

The Lions' dual-threat quarterback also holds FBS offers from Florida Atlantic, Louisiana-Lafayette, Louisiana-Monroe, and Tulane.

Hall is the first East Texan in the 2018 class to be targeted by New Mexico State.

Last season, Hall was Henderson's primary quarterback. He also frequently shifted to receiver so the squad could utilize TCU defensive back signee Lakendrick VanZandt as a wildcat quarterback.

As a signal-caller, Hall completed 118 of 167 passes for 1,894 yards and recorded 24 touchdowns to just three interceptions. He ran the ball 70 total times for 682 yards from all positions.

Hall helped guide Henderson to an 11-2 record a berth in the Class 4A Division I regional semifinals in 2016.

New Mexico State participates in the Sun Belt Conference. The Aggies are coached by Doug Martin, and coming off a 3-9 finish last season.

Hall, like all college football prospects currently in their junior year of high school, will become eligible to sign with any program that offers him in December.
