Newton’s Caiden Walker Picks Up Northwestern State Offer
Caiden Walker has a new offer.
Walker, a 2019 OL at Newton, tweeted Monday that Northwestern State became the latest team to offer him.
Newton has five players with FBS offers. In addition to Walker, 2019 RB Darwin Barlow, 2019 ATH Tamauzia Brown, 2019 QB/ATH Josh Foster, and 2020 DE James Sylvester currently have FBS opportunities.
Last season, Walker anchored an offensive line that helped Newton finish 15-0 and as the Class 3A Division II state champions.
Northwestern State competes in the Southland Conference of the NCAA's FCS subdivision. The Demons finished 4-7 in 2017-18.
Walker, like all juniors, is first eligible to sign with any school that offers him in December.
