Nigel Brown + Waskom Wrap Up Regular Season With 69-54 Defeat of Union Grove

WASKOM -- Waskom got a career night from its only senior on the Wildcats' Senior Night.

Nigel Brown put up a career-best 25 points to lead Waskom to a 69-54 win over Union Grove in the Wildcats' regular-season finale Monday night.

Kevin Johnson added 10 points for Waskom (14-6, 12-2), which will enter the Class 2A playoffs next week as the No. 2 seed from 17-2A.

Union Grove (17-9, 7-6), which will face White Oak on Friday in its regular-season finale, was led by Hunter Gray's 15 points. Tristen Thompson added 14 points in the losing effort.
