Nine East Texans Selected to TAPPS All-State Softball Teams

Nine East Texans across two classifications were honored this week with the release of the TAPPS all-state softball teams.

Bullard Brook Hill freshman pitcher Taylor Schultz claimed the region's lone first-team selection as she was tabbed to the Class 3A squad. Teammate Morgan Brooks, a sophomore catcher, was named to the 3A second team, while Brook Hill senior first baseman Alyssa Eden and junior shortstop Morgan Fore were honorable mention.

Junior shortstop Madison Goforth and junior pitcher Madison Smith represented Tyler All Saints on the Class 4A second team, while honorable mention recognition went to three 4A East Texans: Tyler T.K. Gorman sophomore Katelin Jacobi, Tyler T.K. Gorman senior Rachel Carney, and Tyler Grace junior infielder Kylee Stanley.
