CENTERVILLE -- The second-ranked Laneville Yellowjackets cruised to a 105-37 rout of Gholson in their Class A Region IV area-round playoff Friday night.

Laneville (24-3) advanced to the regional quarterfinals where it will face Coolidge at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday from Frankston High School.

Five Laneville players scored in double figures on the night. Jaylon Grant led the way with 24 points to go with six assists and four steals, while Tra Alexander finished with 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists and five steals. He also knocked down four of Laneville's 10 3-pointers for the game.

Kendrick Anderson had 17 points and five assists, Ty Johnson provided 16 points, 10 rebounds and four steals, while Tiarel Franklin hit four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points and four steals.

Laneville assisted on 26 field goals and racked up 23 steals on the night.
